Most Wanted by Lisa Scottoline & GIVEAWAY

Hardcover, 352 pages
Expected publication: April 12th 2016 by St. Martin's Press

Lisa Scottoline delivers another searing, powerful blockbuster novel that explores hot-button issues within the framework of an intricately plotted thriller. When a woman and her husband, desperate for a baby, find themselves unable to conceive, they decide to take further steps. Since it is the husband who is infertile, the heroine decides to use a donor. And all seems to be well. Three months pass and she is happily pregnant. But a shocking revelation occurs when she discovers that a man arrested for a series of brutal murders is her donor - the biological father of the child she is carrying. Delving deeper to uncover the truth, the heroine must face her worst fears, and confront a terrifying truth. Most Wanted is sure to be Lisa Scottoline's most discussed, bestselling novel yet.

My Thoughts…

Most Wanted is not my first Lisa Scottoline.   I am a huge fan.   This book was different though.   There was still the wonderful story, the complex characters, and the drama but I felt it was more realistic than her other books.   This read more like a real story rather than fiction.   I am torn on how I feel about it.   I love Lisa Scottoline’s fiction Most Wanted had a different feel.

The characters stood up to true Lisa style.   They were not easy, they were real, and they were amazing.   I wanted to be Christine’s best friend.   I needed to help her become comfortable and happy with her pregnancy no matter who the donor was.    I also wanted to slap Marcus.   It was all about him and him alone.   That is not what a father is and he didn’t deserve to be part of Christine or the baby’s life.      The fact that Christine hid things from him, she had to, helped push him to not be understanding but I wanted him to take her in his arms and tell her it would be okay, that it didn’t matter, and that he loved her.

While this is not my most favorite book from Lisa but it is a book that I will not forget it.  I can see that in the future it will keep coming back to me.    I recommend checking it out.
