My Thoughts…
Just when I thought oh, man another MC book Chelsea Camaron
released this one and I knew I had to read it. This is a different type of MC book. While the guys are tough, hard, bikers
what they really are is men on a mission.
A mission to fight the wrongs in their lives and keep those around them
safe. This may sound like other MC’s
but they are different. They don’t have
a club house, there are only a few of them, they are nomads with no ties to
bind them.
Well, no ties to bind them except Dover to Emerson. They both lost the same person. Dover’s sister and Emerson best friend was
taken, raped, and killed. I cannot imagine
how either of them managed to go on with their lives. You cannot have this happen in your life and
not have your life be changed forever.
What I loved most was how Dover stayed on task. He was looking for his sister’s killer and
was not willing to step away from the task.
Yet, he took Emerson’s feelings into consideration when he was working
this case. He worried about what she
would think of him and how it would affect her. He worried about what she would think of him
when he finally handled the man who raped his sister. He worried if she could live his lifestyle
and still be happy.
In The Red is not an easy read. The story is amazing, the words flow, but
the topics are tough. I could not put
the book down and I feel like it will keep popping into my thoughts long after
you read this review and read it yourself.
This is a book that you have to read.
