The story expresses their deep desire to create a more caring world that everyone can benefit from. Both Taylor and Ryan were born in California and reside in the Monterey Bay Area and San Francisco Bay Area.

My Thoughts:  Câmbio is a great story with a great lesson for everyone reading it.  It is a story based on a real life in Curitiba, Brazil.  Picking up litter in exchange for bus tokens, which is a necessity to get around the city.   I love that the neighbors work together to make their neighborhood a better place and to keep their neighborhood safe.  The excitement the young boy has just for getting his sandals and being able to walk safely around the neighborhood was evident in the story and the illustrations.

This book is great for older children, maybe 7-9 years old.
